The last 2 weeks have seen a small group of Brookton business people involved in sessions on Marketing and Customer Service.

These workshops were once again an interactive and informal chance for people to learn some tips and tools, not only from me as the presenter and Michael from SBCEW, but more importantly from each other.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of being a presenter/trainer is seeing people that are willing to listen and share experiences and they’ve all been fantastic to work with.

Although small in numbers, the group is HUGE on enthusiasm and knowledge and are to be congratulated on making the time to attend and for being active participants.

Next Wednesday sees the last workshop, in which we’ll touch on business planning.

The other important topic is talking about how businesses in Brookton can work together to make their community stronger.

The main points of the 4 week workshop have been to make a few extra dollars and then to keep the money spinning around in town to get the benefits.

I’m sure that there will be plenty of lively discussion again and I’m looking forward to it!
